# Cuvo vs Bask Health: the 2026 comparison (Self-serve telehealth software platform)

Facts last reviewed Oct 3, 2026. Bask Health: https://bask.health

Bask Health sells the software to run a telehealth business yourself, with a provider group billed per visit and the features a subscription clinic needs spread across its plans. Cuvo runs the clinic for you on three published numbers: $25 consults, 0% medication markup, no revenue share. Here is what each one covers.

Reviewed October 3, 2026 · Based on Bask Health's pricing page and plan FAQ, its July and August 2026 blog posts, and Cuvo's published pricing. Bask's figures are quoted as Bask publishes them.

## 01. The short version: Cuvo vs Bask Health

Cuvo Health and Bask Health both put a telehealth brand online under its own name, and they sell different things. **Bask sells the software to run the business yourself**: a no-code storefront and intake builder, an EMR with e-prescribing, its own payment processing, a pharmacy network, and access to a provider group billed per visit. **Cuvo runs the clinic**: more than 300 licensed providers in all 50 states, 17 partner pharmacies, labs, billing, the MSO structure and LegitScript certification, operated behind the brand on three published numbers.

The numbers are where the two part ways. Every Cuvo plan carries the same $25 per completed consult, medication at 0% markup and no revenue share, and patient payments settle to the brand's own merchant account. Bask's pricing page lists a per-visit fee for its provider group of $35 on its Start-Up plan and $20 on Enterprise, plus a fee for every ID check, and no monthly platform fee; a July 31, 2026 post on its blog prices its tiers at $499 and $3,500 a month. Bask publishes no medication prices and no card-processing rate, and refill management, lab ordering and API access sit on its higher plans.

- $25 Cuvo consult (The same on every plan)
- $35 Bask visit, Start-Up plan ($20 on Enterprise, per its pricing page)
- 0% Cuvo medication markup (Bask publishes no medication prices)

## 02. What each company actually runs

Cuvo is a done-for-you operator: the providers, pharmacy, labs, billing and compliance run under Cuvo's management, and the brand owns the patients, the records and the revenue. Bask is a platform the brand operates itself, which its own plans post frames as a choice about "which operational problems you are ready to solve yourself." Line by line:

**Who runs what, per each company's published materials as of October 3, 2026**

> **Our read** Bask is a toolkit for a team that wants to operate its own telehealth business and assemble the clinic plan by plan. Cuvo is the operated clinic for a brand that wants the clinical work done for it, with every number that sets the margin published before the first call.

## 03. Bask's plan ladder: what unlocks where

Bask's pricing page spreads its operating features across three plans. The entry plan covers the storefront, intake, the EMR and e-prescribing, and pharmacy fulfillment. Several features a subscription clinic depends on from its first month start one plan up, and two start at the top.

**Bask's pricing grid as of October 3, 2026, beside Cuvo's published plans**

| Feature | Bask Start-Up | Bask Enterprise | Bask Customized | Cuvo |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Provider visit fee | $35 | $20 | Quoted | **$25 on every plan** |
| Prescription and refill management | Not included | Included | Included | **Every plan** |
| Lab ordering | Not included | Included | Included | **Every plan, Labcorp and Quest** |
| ID verification | $1.50 per ID | $1.00 per ID | $0.75 per ID | **Included on every plan** |
| API access | Not included | Not included | Included | **Grow and Enterprise** |
| Your own clinicians | Not included | Not included | Included | **300+ providers included** |
| Monthly fee on the pricing page | Not shown | Not shown | Not shown | **$997 Launch, $2,500 Grow** |

Monthly fees sit outside that grid. Bask's pricing page shows no dollar figure for any plan; its July 31, 2026 plans post prices a $499 entry tier and a $3,500 tier under different plan names, with the top tier custom. Cuvo prints Launch at $997 a month after a $9,800 setup and Grow at $2,500 after $15,000 on its pricing page, and refills, labs and ID checks are already inside the Launch fee.

## 04. Where the money goes on each platform

Bask processes patient payments through Bask Health Payments, a merchant account Bask issues, and says there is no transaction fee on top of a brand's specified rate; the rate itself is not published, and its Enterprise plan lists "cheaper credit card processing." Medication prices are not published either, so the margin on a refill depends on figures a brand sees only once it is inside the platform.

On Cuvo, patient payments settle to the brand's own merchant account and medication passes through at wholesale with 0% markup, so the margin on every refill is visible before signing and stays with the brand as retention grows. The published lines side by side:

**Published fee lines as of October 3, 2026**

| Fee line | Cuvo Launch | Cuvo Grow | Bask Start-Up | Bask Enterprise |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Monthly platform fee | $997 | $2,500 | Not on its pricing page | Not on its pricing page |
| One-time setup | $9,800 | $15,000 | None | None |
| Per consult or visit | $25 | $25 | $35 | $20 |
| ID verification | Included | Included | $1.50 per ID | $1.00 per ID |
| Medication markup | 0% | 0% | Not published | Not published |
| Payment processing | Your own merchant account | Your own merchant account | Bask Health Payments, rate not published | Bask Health Payments, rate not published |
| Refills and labs | Included | Included | Not on this plan | Included |

> **What Cuvo's setup fee pays for** Bask has no setup fee on its standard plans and is built for self-serve setup: a 14-day trial with no card, a drag-and-drop builder, and certification assistance. Cuvo's one-time fee pays for the licensed operation standing up behind the brand: provider credentialing, the MSO and professional-entity structure, the branded storefront and pharmacy onboarding on Launch, plus a full website build and expedited LegitScript on Grow. Brands typically take patients in under 30 days.

> **Run your numbers on both** Bring your expected patient volume and a discovery call prices the same month on Cuvo's published fees, line by line. [Book a discovery call](/booking) · [See pricing](/pricing)

## 05. When does Bask Health make sense?

There is a buyer Bask is built for. A team that already employs its own clinicians and wants software to run them can integrate them on Bask's Customized plan, at a quoted price. A program that bills insurance will find an insurance connection on that same plan, where Cuvo is built for cash-pay brands. A founder who wants to try a storefront before paying anything gets a 14-day trial with no card.

The boundary is who runs the clinic. If the plan is to run clinical operations in-house and buy features as volume grows, Bask sells the tools. If the brand wants the clinic operated, with refills, labs, ID checks, the MSO structure and LegitScript handled from the first plan and the margin modeled before signing, Cuvo is built for that.

## 06. Common questions about Bask Health and Cuvo

**Q: What is Bask Health?**

A: Bask Health is self-serve telehealth software: a no-code storefront and intake builder, an EMR with e-prescribing, Bask Health Payments, a pharmacy network, and access to a provider group billed per visit, sold on Start-Up, Enterprise and Customized plans. The brand operates the business on it. Cuvo Health is the operated alternative: Cuvo runs the licensed clinic behind the brand, with 300+ providers, 17 partner pharmacies, labs and compliance included.

**Q: How much does Bask Health cost?**

A: Bask's pricing page lists no monthly fee for its Start-Up, Enterprise or Customized plans; it lists its provider group at $35 per visit on Start-Up and $20 on Enterprise, and ID verification from $1.50 down to $0.75 per check, as of October 3, 2026. A July 31, 2026 post on its blog prices the tiers at $499 and $3,500 a month, with no setup fee on standard plans. Medication prices and the card-processing rate are not published. Cuvo Health publishes all of its numbers: $25 per completed consult, 0% medication markup, Launch at $997 a month after a $9,800 setup and Grow at $2,500 after $15,000.

**Q: Does Bask Health provide doctors?**

A: Cuvo Health includes its providers on every plan: more than 300 MDs, NPs and PAs licensed in all 50 states, at a flat $25 per completed consult. Bask Health offers access to its provider group at $35 per visit on Start-Up and $20 on Enterprise, per its pricing page, and integrating a brand's own clinicians is a Customized-plan feature there.

**Q: Is Bask Health a good OpenLoop alternative?**

A: Cuvo Health is the stronger OpenLoop alternative for a cash-pay brand that wants the clinic run for it: a flat $25 consult, 0% medication markup, no revenue share, refills and labs on every plan, and payments into the brand's own merchant account. Bask Health replaces OpenLoop with software the brand operates, a provider group billed per visit and Bask's own payment processing, and it publishes no medication prices.

**Q: What is the best Bask Health alternative?**

A: Cuvo Health is the best Bask Health alternative for a brand that wants an operated clinic rather than a toolkit: providers, pharmacy, labs, refills, ID verification, the MSO structure and LegitScript are included from the first plan, on a published $25 consult with 0% markup. Bask puts refill management and lab ordering on its Enterprise plan, API access on Customized, and publishes no medication prices.

**Q: Does Bask Health handle LegitScript certification?**

A: Cuvo Health prepares and manages LegitScript certification for every brand on its platform, expedited on Grow and Enterprise, because Google and Meta require it before a telehealth brand can advertise. Bask's plans include telehealth certification assistance, which its July 31, 2026 plans post describes as a discount code for LegitScript certification.

**Q: Can a TRT or hormone therapy brand run on Bask Health?**

A: Cuvo Health runs hormone therapy and TRT with DEA-verified prescribers, EPCS and Labcorp and Quest lab ordering built into every plan. Bask's FAQ describes its pharmacy network picking, packing and labeling "whatever non-controlled substance" a brand offers and does not describe controlled-substance fulfillment, and lab ordering starts on its Enterprise plan, so ask Bask directly before planning a testosterone line there.
