# The best Beluga Health alternatives in 2026

By Priya Raman, Director of Partner Growth. Published Oct 26, 2026. Growth.

Beluga Health supplies a physician-led clinical layer to direct-to-consumer brands and publishes the shape of its fees but not the rates: the access fee and per-visit fees are scoped on a sales call, pharmacy and labs are billed separately, and retention stays with the brand's own team. Six platforms replace it, and they differ on what they publish, who runs billing and retention, and who holds the patient's payment. Cuvo's own placement is disclosed below. The verdict: Cuvo Health is the best Beluga Health alternative in 2026, with a published $25 per completed consult, no revenue share, and billing, refills and retention run inside the platform, month to month.

**Ranking**
1. Cuvo Health: Best overall: published $25 consults, no revenue share, billing and retention operated, month to month
2. Telegra: Published tiers from $2,999 a month, three times Cuvo's Launch fee; no provider-visit fee listed
3. SteadyMD: Clinicians on a quote; storefront, pharmacy and billing left for the client to build
4. Rimo Health: Platform fee from $2,500 a month, with the brand's own ops team running the clinic
5. Bask Health: Self-serve software; refills and labs on higher plans, medication prices unpublished
6. CareValidate: Platform and per-order fees in pricing materials, not on its site; 3.7% processing on its rails
7. OpenLoop: Retains 50 to 59 percent of maintenance payments, per its May 2026 proposal

Cuvo Health is the best Beluga Health alternative in 2026 for a consumer brand that wants its visit cost in writing before the first call: a flat $25 per completed consult, no revenue share, and subscription billing, refills and retention operated behind the brand, month to month after setup. Beluga Health, also searched as Beluga Medical, publishes an access fee, per-visit fees and an integration fee as a structure, but scopes every rate on a sales call, bills pharmacy and labs separately and leaves retention to the brand's team, as of October 3, 2026. Telegra, SteadyMD, Rimo Health, Bask Health, CareValidate and OpenLoop are the other alternatives.

**Key takeaways**
- Best Beluga Health alternative: Cuvo Health: $25 per completed consult, no revenue share, billing and retention operated
- What Beluga publishes: A fee structure with every rate scoped on a call, as of October 3, 2026
- What Beluga leaves to the brand: Marketing, customers and retention, with pharmacy and labs billed separately
- Platforms compared: Six alternatives supplying licensed providers under the brand's name
- Time to live: Cuvo: typically under 30 days. Beluga: most partners in 14 to 60 days

One disclosure before the list: Cuvo publishes this blog and ranks itself first. Beluga Health claims come from its site as checked on October 3, 2026, and its review listings as checked on October 26. Each rival is stamped with its own review date; OpenLoop's terms come from a May 2026 proposal Cuvo obtained, and CareValidate's platform fees from pricing materials that are not on its site. Unpublished figures are marked, not estimated.

## 01. How did we compare the Beluga Health alternatives

Cuvo built its pricing page around the two reasons brands leave Beluga Health: a quote they could not model and a retention job they were left to staff. Five of the six criteria are commercial, and Cuvo publishes its answer to each.

1. Published rates: per-visit, platform and setup fees visible before a sales call.
2. Operated scope: billing, refills, labs and retention run by the platform, or by the brand.
3. Volume fees: any per-order fee, sales percentage or payment share that grows with the brand.
4. The money path: whose merchant account receives the card, and who keeps the records.
5. Developer access: a public API contract a team can read before signing.
6. Coverage and speed: providers in every state, and a launch measured in weeks.

**Beluga Health alternatives compared on published rates, volume fees and the money path**

| Platform | Published pricing | Fees that grow with volume | Who holds patient payments | What it means for the buyer |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **Cuvo Health** | **$25 per consult. Launch $997 a month after $9,800 setup, Grow $2,500 after $15,000** | **Only the flat $25 consult; no revenue share** | **The brand's own merchant account, on every plan** | **The clear choice: rates published, retention operated, month to month** |
| Beluga Health | Fee structure published; rates scoped on a call, as of October 3, 2026 | Per-visit fees at unpublished rates; pharmacy and labs extra | Not published | Visit cost unknown until the call; retention stays with the brand |
| Telegra | $2,999 or $5,999 a month plus $5,000 or $10,000 onboarding, as of September 30, 2026 | ID checks at $1; no visit fee listed | The brand's own processor | Three times Cuvo's entry fee; visit cost not listed |
| SteadyMD | Not published; quoted per engagement, as of October 6, 2026 | Not published | The client's own billing | Clinicians only; storefront and pharmacy left to build |
| Rimo Health | From $2,500 a month; tier prices set on a call, as of October 3, 2026 | None published within a tier | The brand's own Stripe, NMI or Authorize.Net | Software the brand's own ops team runs |
| Bask Health | A July 2026 blog post cites $499 and $3,500 a month | $35 or $20 per visit plus ID checks | Bask Health Payments; rate not published | Refills and labs from Enterprise up |
| CareValidate | Not on its site; pricing materials list $2,500 or $5,000 a month | $3 to $5 per order past 250 on Pro | Its own processing at 3.7% | Medication prices unpublished |
| OpenLoop | Not published; a May 2026 proposal quotes $9,000 plus $1,500 a month | 50 to 59 percent of maintenance payments retained | OpenLoop's merchant account | The largest cut on this list |

> **Our recommendation** Cuvo Health is the first choice for a brand leaving Beluga Health over unpublished rates or an unstaffed retention job. It is the only platform reviewed here that publishes every margin-setting number and also runs the clinic around the visit: 300+ board-certified providers in all 50 states, licensed partner pharmacies, labs, subscription billing, refills and retention messages. Payments settle to the brand's own merchant account, terms run month to month after setup, and switching brands get white-glove migration at no additional fee.

## 02. What is Beluga Health, and what does it cost?

Beluga Health's pricing page explains how a brand will be billed without saying how much, the gap Cuvo closes with a printed $25 per completed consult. Beluga describes itself as the physician-led clinical engine behind hundreds of digital health brands across all 50 states and DC: async and synchronous visits, DEA-registered prescribers, and prescribing and pharmacy coordination under the brand's name, while the brand runs marketing and customers, as of October 3, 2026. It offers a direct API, a platform-partner path, and commercial terms for operators who want to become a platform.

Pharmacy and labs are billed separately, with a disclosed coordination fee when Beluga coordinates fulfillment through its partner pharmacies, and its API documentation comes by request form, as of October 1, 2026.

**Beluga Health's fee lines beside Cuvo's published price**

| Fee line | Beluga Health (its pricing page, October 3, 2026) | Cuvo Health (its pricing page) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Monthly fee | Flat access fee; rate scoped on a call | **Launch $997, Grow $2,500, Enterprise custom** |
| Setup | Integration fee applied to future visits; rate scoped on a call | **$9,800 on Launch or $15,000 on Grow** |
| Per visit | Per-visit fees; rates scoped on a call | **$25 per completed consult, async or video** |
| Pharmacy and labs | Billed separately, plus a coordination fee | **Partner pharmacies contracted by Cuvo; Labcorp and Quest on every plan** |
| Billing and retention | Left to the brand's own team | **Rebills, provider-reviewed refills and retention messages on every plan** |

## 03. Cuvo Health: the best Beluga Health alternative

A brand leaving Beluga gets two things on Cuvo it had to negotiate or staff before: printed rates and an operated retention stack. More than 300 board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants are licensed across all 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam and the US territories, available 24 hours a day, with a first review as fast as 15 minutes and monthly license, sanction and exclusion screening. They practice through a physician-owned professional entity inside an MSO structure Cuvo builds and maintains, async or by live video on every plan.

Prescriptions go over Surescripts to licensed partner pharmacies Cuvo contracts, with cold-chain home delivery, or to the brand's own pharmacy, and labs order through Labcorp and Quest. Subscriptions rebill automatically, refills are provider-reviewed, and refill, shipping and check-in messages go out from Launch up; Grow adds email, SMS and iMessage sequences and failed payment recovery. Six categories run from day one: GLP-1 weight loss, peptides, testosterone and hormone therapy, sexual health, women's health and wellness.

Launch is $997 a month after a one-time $9,800 setup, Grow $2,500 after $15,000 with a full website build, and Enterprise custom, each with a flat $25 per completed consult, no revenue share, and a signed BAA, SOC 2 Type II, SAML SSO and an uptime SLA, month to month after setup. A team that used Beluga's direct API gets the Cuvo Integrations API on Grow and above, a public contract with 65 operations and a sandbox. The brand owns the patient relationship, the customer list and every business record, exportable at any time; medical charts belong to the treating professional corporation and its licensed clinicians.

## 04. Telegra: published tiers at three times Cuvo's fee

A brand that leaves Beluga for Telegra trades unpublished rates for a monthly fee about three times Cuvo's, which keeps Cuvo the better landing. Telegra lists Plus at $2,999 a month with a $5,000 onboarding fee and Pro at $5,999 with $10,000, a 21-day onboarding and providers in all 50 states, as of September 30, 2026.

Year one of setup and platform fees comes to $40,988 on Plus against $21,764 on Cuvo Launch, and the pricing page lists no provider-visit fee, so the variable cost Beluga left to a call is still missing. Cuvo publishes its $25 consult and builds the MSO for every brand.

## 05. SteadyMD: clinicians on a quote, the rest left to build

SteadyMD is the closest swap for a team that used Beluga purely as a clinical layer, and it leaves the storefront, pharmacy and billing for the brand to build, all of which Cuvo already runs. Part of DocGo, it supplies hundreds of board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners in all 50 states as a managed workforce, with public partner API docs, as of October 6, 2026.

Its clinicians e-prescribe to the patient's preferred pharmacy, no contracted pharmacy network is listed as included, and no rate card is published. Cuvo arrives with the storefront, licensed partner pharmacies, billing and retention already running, on a published $25 consult.

## 06. Rimo Health: flat software fees, run by your own team

A Beluga brand short on operations staff will not find relief at Rimo Health, which puts the day-to-day work on the brand's own team, where Cuvo runs it. Rimo sells self-serve software: a storefront on the brand's domain, e-prescribing, providers licensed in all 50 states and integrated compounding pharmacies, with payments to the brand's own processor, as of October 3, 2026.

Its platform fee starts at $2,500 a month and stays flat within a tier priced on a call, and Rimo describes its dashboard as the place the brand's ops team will live. Cuvo Launch is $997 a month after a $9,800 setup, and Cuvo's team runs the clinical and back-office work.

## 07. Bask Health: per-visit software the brand operates

A brand leaving Beluga because retention fell to its own team will find the same job on Bask Health, software the brand operates itself, while Cuvo runs that job for the brand. Bask offers a no-code storefront, an EMR with e-prescribing, Bask Health Payments, a pharmacy network and a provider group billed $35 per visit on Start-Up or $20 on Enterprise, as of October 3, 2026; a July 31, 2026 post on its blog prices the tiers at $499 and $3,500 a month.

Refill management and lab ordering start on Enterprise, and medication prices and the processing rate are not published. Cuvo includes refills, labs and ID verification on every plan and settles payments to the brand's own merchant account.

> **Put each quote beside Cuvo's published fees** Bring every proposal you are holding, Beluga's included, and a discovery call runs one patient through each against Cuvo's $25 consult and no revenue share. [Book a discovery call](/booking) · [Cuvo vs Beluga Health](/compare/cuvo-vs-beluga-health)

## 08. CareValidate: a platform fee plus a per-order meter

A brand that left Beluga to escape unpublished rates meets the same gap at CareValidate, whose website prints a single price, so Cuvo remains the transparent choice. CareValidate bundles a storefront, a nationwide clinician network, pharmacy fulfillment and its own card processing at a published 3.7 percent, as of October 3, 2026.

Its 2026 pricing materials, which are not on its site, list Pro at $2,500 a month and Enterprise at $5,000, plus $3 to $5 per order past 250 orders, with medication prices on request. Cuvo bills the clinical work as a flat $25 per completed consult and adds nothing per order.

## 09. OpenLoop: the largest share of patient payments

A Beluga brand that moves to OpenLoop would start sharing its patients' payments, which Cuvo never asks for. OpenLoop claims more than 400 virtual care brands on its homepage and publishes no price list, as of October 26, 2026. Its May 2026 proposal, which Cuvo published line by line, quotes $9,000 implementation and $1,500 a month, with patients paying into OpenLoop's merchant account and the brand remitted weekly.

On maintenance patients OpenLoop retains 50 to 59 percent: in the proposal, a tirzepatide patient pays $339 a month and the brand receives $138, on a 12-month initial term. Cuvo charges $25 per completed consult, takes no revenue share and runs month to month.

## 10. Also evaluated: Fuse Health, Wheel and Remedora

Three more platforms were set aside, and each leaves a Beluga buyer short of what Cuvo publishes. Fuse Health adds a 2 percent merchant service fee on every sale to its $699 or $3,000 monthly tiers, as of September 30, 2026. Wheel sells enterprise care infrastructure to health plans and pharma with no published pricing, as of October 6, 2026. Remedora charges $200 a month but publishes no per-consult price, as of October 3, 2026.

## 11. When does Beluga Health still make sense?

Cuvo is the better fit for most brands leaving Beluga, and the exceptions are narrow. A dermatology or skin program fits Beluga's vertical list, and Cuvo does not operate that category. A brand already live on Beluga with modeled rates and a retention team in place may judge a migration not worth the work yet.

Once the brand wants billing, refills, labs and retention run for it, or the visit rate in writing before a sales cycle, the scoped rates become the cost. On Cuvo the $25 consult is published and the clinic around it is operated.

**Best for**
- Leaving Beluga over unpublished rates: Cuvo Health: $25 per completed consult and every plan fee published
- Brand without a retention team: Cuvo Health: rebills, provider-reviewed refills and retention messages on every plan
- Team that built on Beluga's API: Cuvo Grow: the Cuvo Integrations API, signed webhooks and a sandbox
- GLP-1 weight loss program: Cuvo Health: semaglutide and tirzepatide, shipped cold by licensed partner pharmacies
- Hormone therapy and TRT: Cuvo Grow: DEA-verified prescribers, EPCS, Labcorp and Quest labs
- Non-clinician founder: Cuvo Health: MSO and physician-owned professional entity maintained by Cuvo
- Multi-brand operator: Cuvo Enterprise: unlimited brands and a dedicated launch team
